2010 School Calendar

School Week
School days will be Tuesday through Saturday from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm or Monday through Friday from 3:00-8:00 pm.

Start of Classes
The Barbering, Manicuring, and Instructor Training programs do not have set scheduled start dates, they are to be announced and depend upon enrollment for each program.

 

Cosmetology starting dates are:

Esthetics+ starting dates are:

July 13, 2010

January 4, 2011

July 12, 2011

Scheduled Closures

Thanksgiving	November 25 - 27, 2010 November 24 - 26, 2011
Christmas	December 24 - 25, 2010 December 24, 2011
New Years	January 1, 2011
Summer Break	July 4 - July 8, 2011 - Day Class July 11 - July 15, 2011 - Evening Class

Unscheduled Closures
Victoria’s Academy is open on a continuous basis throughout the year. If the school closes due to bad weather, fire, etc., on a scheduled school day, every possible effort will be made to notify students: i.e.: by phone or through the media. Hours for these days would be added to the students contract completion date with no additional charge to the student.

Scheduled Staff Meetings
The first Wednesday of each month, a staff meeting is held from

3:30 PM- 5:00 PM, changing release time for students on those Wednesday’s from 4:00 PM to 3:30 PM. The academy may also be closed for up to three instructional staff “in-service” days per year.
